Why film in Spain?

Few places in the world boast such a diverse range of landscapes within a single country as Spain. In less than two hours, you can travel from the Mediterranean coast to the desert, from a city steeped in 2,000 years of history to a pristine natural park, or from a palace to a mountain retreat. This diversity has made the country a favorite production destination for top international companies such as Netflix, Apple TV, Paramount, Sony Pictures, and HBO, among others.

In which areas of Spain can we film?

These are the areas where we operate most frequently, although our coverage extends throughout the entire country. If you have a specific location in mind, let us know and we’ll find it for you.

Filming permits: no surprises, no delays

Obtaining permits is where many productions lose time and money. We understand the procedures of every administration—from a town hall of 500 inhabitants to a National Park—and we process them well in advance so your filming schedule doesn’t suffer any last-minute changes.

Initial assessment

We analyze the location, the type of use, and the filming schedule to identify which agencies need to authorize filming and in what realistic timeframe each permit can be obtained.

Processing

We handle all the documentation: applications, liability insurance, notifications to neighbors, coordination with local police and any other location-specific requirements.

Tracking

We actively monitor each case and are present on set to resolve any issues with local authorities in real time.

Do you have a location in mind?

Tell us what you need: type of space, approximate location, and filming dates. Sunrise Films will take care of the rest and provide you with a personalized proposal.
